An ADVOCATE for ALL

I have dedicated my life to be a voice for the voiceless. My firm conviction is that every individual has measureless worth, and I have enjoyed wonderful opportunities to help people through Child Protective Services, Medical Hospice Social Work, and as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for the children of Montgomery County. I believe every child deserves a superior education on a level playing field, and that it is our responsibility to help them.

This means we must be thorough in recognizing handicaps and disabilities so we can step up their needs and provide the help our children deserve so the only barrier they must face is their own desire to achieve their fullest potential.

A SERVANT LEADER with Determination

I know how to roll up my sleeves and work alongside people as I lead them. I have done this in the private sector during my Social Work career with end of life care for our precious senior community, with abused women and their families of Montgomery County through our Women’s Center, previously as a multi-term President of a CISD Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO) where my children have attended school. Under my leadership, the PTO where I served achieved great results that have been modeled by many other CISD schools and schools in other parts of Texas.

I am currently serving as a grade-level leader with the National Charity League, Texas Laurels chapter. I’m now ready to take this mindset to the CISD school board as your representative.

A REPRESENTATIVE that goes Above and Beyond

I am a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and a proud Conroe Tiger! After high school, I earned Social Work degrees at Baylor where I completed my undergraduate work and the University of Houston where I earned my masters. I am a licensed social worker in the State of Texas. I was blessed to marry a local boy who also grew-up here and is a second-generation local business owner when he graduated from The Woodlands High School and Texas A&M University. Together we have two children, a boy, and a girl, who attend CISD schools, and our family are members at Faith Bible Church where my husband serves as a deacon.

As your representative, I won’t back down from difficult conversations to ensure our children receive the education our community can provide; the education they each deserve.

“I want to ensure that each child and family within our district is served with compassion and intentionality.”
